Assistant to Clothing Manager
Our Clothing Manager, Duncan Brookes, purchases safety clothing, arranges name inscriptions and distributes it. Duncan is looking for an assistant, with a view to taking over in due course. Enquire with Monica or Rod at convener@bsar.org .
Assistant to the Equipment Officer
It is the search FO’s responsibly to return gear to the store in a state of readiness for the next search. The Equipment Officer, Roger Palmer, takes care of ongoing requirements like equipment replacement and repairs and keeping the store organised. The store is in Box Hill North, so ideally an assistant to Roger needs to live reasonably close. Enquire with Monica or Rod at convener@bsar.org .
Website/Social Media
There is a role in BSAR for someone who enjoys online editing and social media to assist with online posts in our members’ news and (public) news pages and our Facebook posts. If you are interested, please contact Monica or Rod at convener@bsar.org .
Assistant to the Membership Secretary
Typically, the Membership Secretary role has been occupied by one person, currently it’s Chris Jarvis. The Membership Secretary maintains individual data and service records and updates our corner of the State Control Centre call-out system.
